a one man band?

last night we went to a music open house
AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL!!

each 6th grader is required to do a music course
so this night gave them the chance to 'shop around'.
they could go from room to room
testing out the different instruments
to see which they liked best

drew went into the night thinking he wanted to do
percussion or saxophone.

after a VERY fun hour with his friends
he is nowhere close to a decision.

he's narrowed it down to:
trombone
trumpet
violin
percussion
or
cello

i NEVER would have expected this
but after watching him play -
my personal favorites
were watching him play the trombone

and the drums

the 3 loudest instruments.
go figure.
